How Much Can It Hold?

During our science unit we built card stock platforms that our students designed to hold a load. In this case, the load was a stack of books. We tried to determine which design would hold the heaviest stack of books. 

Believe it or not, the winning design was an upside down box top design that held over 30 books!!!!
